1. Relax, calm down, be grounded and connect with yourself. Remember you are a human ‘being’ not a human ‘doing’ :o)
  2. Remember to breathe. Deep relaxing breaths. Breathe in deeply and allow relaxation to flow through the body as you breathe out.
  3. Be in expanded awareness (peripheral vision) Find a spot on the wall just above eye level and as you focus on it allow your vision expand and take in all around you. This helps slow brainwaves down and calm you :o)
  4. Focus on being present and totally in the ‘now’. Not dwelling in the past or the future.
  5. Control your state. You are in charge of whatever state you are in and can change it . To change your state, move! Change surrounding, what you’re thinking about. Listen to uplifting music watch a funny dvd. You choose the way you feel, no one ‘makes’ you!
  6. Look for the good in any situation. Think “What’s good about this” There’s always something beneficial and something for us to learn from every situation.
  7. Focus on and give attention to what you want and not on what you don’t!
  8. Remember the unconscious mind does not process negatives directly! Get rid of ‘Don’t!
  9. Remember there is no ‘try’! There is only ‘do’ or ‘do not’!
  10. See yourself and your life as you want it to be. Visualize yourself in the future as you want it now. Einstein said “Imagination is a preview of life’s coming attractions”
  11. Create a Vision board or a book with pictures of what you want in your life. Have it where you can see it every day, several times a day. First thing in the morning and last thing at night.
  12. Be grateful. Live in gratitude. There is always so much to be grateful for.
  13. Accept other people’s model of the world, even if you don’t agree with it.
